Fall Festival Weather Dominates Decades of Moravia Events
A scanned history notes the Moravia Fall Festival from 1934 to 1940s, detailing weather as a major factor in attendance and success. It catalogs annual themes, speakers such as Gordon D. Cox, Ernest A. Fabritz, Lloyd Thurston, and Roy Stevens, and highlights like queen selections, 4-H demonstrations, and record entries ranging up to about 900. The chronicled years show droughts, floods, rain, and heat shaping festival outcomes, with notable speakers and entertainment across the era.
