Fall Festival Marks 58th Moravia Observance
An Iowa Taxpayers Association summary notes fall season changes and taxes due, contrasting Moravia's calm with nationwide farming trends since 1935. The Tax Foundation data show U.S. farms and farm workers halving since 1935 while USDA staff rose, projecting 28 farms per USDA worker and 52 workers per USDA employee by 1984, implying a future with one USDA worker per farm in about two decades.
