ENON Bible School drew a good crowd on Sunday. The congregation celebrated their new piano with pride as Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Van Dorin were thanked for support.
Mrs. Mary Clester spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Free and Mrs J L Tones. Helping Hand Club met with Mr. and Mrs. Wm Giltner last Thursday with 23 present. The Imdies worked on rugs and the men cut wood. Mrs. Bernice Glaspie and Jerry spent several days at the Selby home. Mrs. Clara Selby is keeping house for Frank Wilson and son while Mrs. Wilson visits her sister. Mr. and Mrs. Le Roy Harvey and son and Miss Ruth Hoffman visited from Friday until Sunday at the A C Faber home. Sunday visitors were RK S and R A Faber and families. Mr and Mrs J T Van Dorin, Leo, Miss Alice Shaw, and Mr and Mrs E G Hawk attended the program at Foster Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Kenneth Free visited at Haver Free's after Sunday School. Mrs J L Jones is spending a few days at the Bayard Neff home. Club will meet with Mrs M E Boardman this Thursday all day. Remember the program and box supper at Enon Friday night Oct 19. Mr and Mrs R S Faber, son Dean and daughters Mary Josephine spent Monday at A O Van Dorins.
Mrs Bertha Martin and daughters from Lovilia canned beans at her mother Mrs Horton lPotts home as Appanoose County Ladies Aid met in Centerville on Tuesday October 9. Homer Longs death shocks community while study center attendance and visits to Albia Hopkins and Lake Wapello mark a weekend of family travel and local gatherings.
Bert Fisher and wife visited the Cates home near Centerville with Edd Haines and daughters Gertrude and Doll. Ernest Sheech and family spent Sunday at Curk McCoy. Mrs Charley Claver of Ottumwa visited Jin Leach’s home then returned home Thursday. John Fisher and wife joined John Scott and wife in Albida. Gene Boyer and wife visited Tubaughs. Vern Turner and wife attended Urbana Center church. Hower Newhorn and wife shopped Moravia. Mrs Cary McCoy visited George Singley in Moulton. Harry Smith of Indianola stayed with relatives. The Iconium Willing Workers club gathered last Wednesday with Mrs Wendl Coulson and many members and visitors. Members spent the day quilting sewing rug rage and embroidering dish towels. A next meeting place was not decided. Several families and friends visited, helped with canning, and attended various gatherings around the area including events at the Beaty, Argo, Hellyer, and Tarbell households. A Halloween program is planned by local students.

The lands include parts of sections 8 and 17 in Township 7 Range 17. sale set for November 10 1934 at 10 am at Centerville courthouse to satisfy a debt of 1066.94 plus 67.13 costs and accruing costs. A Delco light plant was installed at J T Hiatt residence and a Moravia chopping contest drew a large crowd resembling a Fourth of July scene.
