Hiattsville W S C 3 will meet this Thursday afternoon with Mrs Pearl Scott. Ronald Lee VanZante spent Wednesday with his grandparents Mr and Mrs Lute Hiatt while his parents were in Centerville. Pvt and Mrs Kenneth Hiatt spent weekend at the U S Hiatt home. Virgil Dooley and son Lester visited Centerville. Harley Burton and family moved from Ottumwa. Robert Burton’s family joined. Robert leaves for the army Tuesday. Sunday visitors included many Hiatt and Burton families from Ottumwa. Mrs Anna Hiatt cared for Rubye at home. she had just left St Joseph’s hospital. Wesley Chapel W S C S gave Mrs Brees a non- portable basket. Homecoming at Wesley Chapel Oct 18. Mr and Mrs W A Rose of Memphis Mo stay at Lloyd Rose’s and paint the house. Attendees from the vicinity joined the New Hope school program and box supper Friday.
