A long list of relatives and friends visited and hosted in Centerville and nearby towns. Residents from Grand Junction, Oklahoma City, Erie, Des Moines, Waterloo, Burlington, and Columbia shared hospitalities, attended church events, and joined gatherings at homes such as the Houser, Boyer, and Stajer households. Extended visits included travel to Des Moines for the Cox reunion and attendance at local W S C S meetings and social events.
Udell residents listed a string of weekend visits and travels. Mrs H B Spring and Mrs Donna Brewer of Lyons joined Carl Weber at his home while Frank Weber and Wayne Weber were guests at the parental Burkland home in Eddyville. The Burklands seek arthritis treatment in Excelsior Springs. Stajears visited Cliff Woods home, Elschlagaers hosted at Centerville, and Webers stayed with Clarenice Pedrick in Douds.

Des Moines visitors Kay and Keith McCord joined Edward McCord and family for weekend gatherings. Ottumwa hospital updates affected Leonard Perry and Fred Sheldon as relatives visited and health concerns were noted. Local households including Hellyer, Perry, Calhoun, and Brown hosted or hosted elves with many cordial calls and dinners across the weekend.
