Nazarenes to Move Church Build on Faith in Moravia
Moravia Nazarenes began a church project this week after purchasing a lot north of the J. W. Halden home. The 28 by 32 foot structure will be moved 10 miles from its current Ottumwa area site. Led by Rev. Jay S. Phipps labor will be provided mostly by church members with modest professional help. The plan calls for dismantling the building into sections and reconstructing it on the Moravia lot, with expansion expected. Services are currently held in rooms adjoining the Gamble store.
