Names include Claude Rogers Kenneth Calhoun Donald Calhoun Thelma Vamoun Eugene Jackson Amy Hiner Myoyd Hiner George Kimenarts Kenugg and KiMer, with Mr and Mrs Russell Brown and Mr and Mrs Earl Swift also noted. They later attended election day supper at St. Mary church in Albia and spent the evening with Bert Rinehart.
Des Moines trips and family visits appear throughout the week as residents attend events in Albia Ottumwa Davenport Collinsville and Des Moines. Local families including the Christy Brown Callen and Rinehart clans share evenings dinners and 4-H activities with neighbors and relatives.
