Sunday visitors visited Earl Swift and family including Emmett Derby, Monte Derby, Emery Hiatt, Gary Perry and family, Duane Wilson and children, Clair Long and Jeffrey, plus others. Mrs. Coy Swift returned from Monroe hospital after a week. Rosearm Calhoun visited Kirksville College on Thursday. Connie McAninch wed Gary Adams at Moravia Saturday evening. Community members helped prepare Tennium Methodist church Thursday.
Mr and Mrs Loyd Lundey and daughter of Des Moines visited at the Ben Pickerell home Sunday afternoon. Mrs Roscoe Argo visited there as well. THE UNION offers an appreciative Christmas gift with a free gift card or a wave that can be used on a Christmas tree to express thoughtfulness.
