William Eugene Tigue 34 his wife Marjorie and one child died in an auto wreck on highway 60 south of Knoxville near Bussey junction around 8 PM Wednesday. A second vehicle had one fatality. details withheld by the coroner and Knox County sheriff. The Tige family lived west of Moravia. three other children were in school. Moravia high school basketball opened with two losses at Cincinnati. The girls fell 31 to 22 as Moravia battled height disadvantage and scoring droughts though guards Sandy Walker and teammates slowed Cincinnati. Carl L. Boblenz died Thursday at St Joseph hospital in Ottumwa. Funeral services were held with Mr and Mrs Herb Boblenz and Mr and Mrs Roscoe Pennington in attendance. Interment was at Russell. Miss Barbara Houser and Bill Padavich were married Sunday afternoon November 3 at Unionville Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Sawyer reading the double ring ceremony. The altar featured baskets of large yellow and bronze mums. The bride wore a white lace ballerina gown with a lace jacket and a fingertip veil.
