In Moravia a vote of 108 re-elected Lee Hiatt as mayor and all five sitting councilmen. Council seats went to B Carl Hiatt Paul Spencer Jr John Spencer Maurice Walter Dark Black and Dean Easter. Margaret Books elected treasurer with 35 write-ins amid scattered other votes. In Centerville Mayor Harry Dukes re-elected 1046 to 607 for Harold Fowler with councilmen Herbert Hoover Derin Wales Tom Easton Jim Yner Meredith Griffing Jack Lee and Zelpha Price. An eight year 4-H member active in clothing foods nutrition home improvement swine automotive citizenship and junior leadership projects she has county awards in clothing canning and conservation and the Falvey Citizenship Award.
