A black and white Boston terrier named Cindy was frightened by an electrical storm and placed in her pen Saturday night.

Gerald Burton and Ivan spent Sunday night with Lester Strunk. Barbara Strunk visited Gerald Burton’s with Bob Strunk and family. Wilbur Miller and Eleanor called on Lee Tadlock. Lorene Tubaugh’s daughters visited her parents. Nellie Williams spent Sunday night with her daughter Pauline in Moulton and attended garden club. John Kelley family hosted multiple callers including Cleaver, Paris, Main, Kelley, and Dommer. Dean Judge with Paris family at Orl Peters in Centerville. Richard Tubaugh home visitors Dixie, Drenda, Davana, Gary Pfannehecker, Delmar Doud, Janet Dixon.
Whiteneck tid daughters, Grate, illemeal all children, igie rs, Jerol illesplée and Mr. and 'Me, Gerald Dean 'Tu bang and Jolee, and Wilbur Mil ler. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Tubaugh spent Wednesday night and 'Thurs day at the Albert Tubaugh home, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Paris spent Saturday with daughter Connie in Polk City and brought grandson Déan 'home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Luse spent Thursday afternoon with Lester Strunks, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Hughes and Mr.and Mrs. Gerald Burton and Iva were Sunday dinner guests.

Rex Alexander and family visited H Alexander home. A B Cox of San Antonio and Pauline Cox of Fort Madison plus Joe Burger of Moravia spent weekend with the Starks.
Last week Mrs Vaughn Faber and Mrs Mary Arnold visited Mr and Mrs Warren Proctor and family at Eldon Sunday. Larry Abens returned home from a 30 day leave with DeWayne Sinclair in Fort Dodge. Mr and Mrs Richard Douglas hosted Sunday dinner in Ames with Madelyn Sinclair and others. Ledges park near Boone provided a backdrop for the afternoon gathering.
Datby and Barbara attended the 4-H girls Mother-Daughter Tea at Albia. Mrs. Pearl Swim of Moravia and Mrs. Zelma Hopkins of Albia visited at the Sam Proctor home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Proctor of Agency and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Proctor visited Sunday afternoon at Sam Proctor. The Wednesday club met with Mrs. Fern Crawley May 16 with 10 members present. Next meeting will be with Mrs. Inez Faber and Mrs. Marilee Vance on May 29.
