Moravia School Board Seeks New Bids for Addition

At a regular Moravia school board meeting the group rejected all bids for the industrial shop addition and ordered new bids. The low Ottumwa bidder uncovered a $9,000 error after reviewing their figures, with bids rising from $55,316 to $61,200. The bond proposal capped costs at $80,000, so the board and attorney opted to relet contracts with changes to meet the $60,000 limit, delaying construction about a month.
