The government has decided not to mint additional million silver dollars because they are short of silver. Officials say a halt to new coin production is necessary to conserve metal stocks and manage existing reserves.

Mr and Mrs Paul Dicks Nickie and Fonda visited the Dick Brown home Sunday evening. Doris and Elaine Christy attended at the home of Sandra Whitehead Monday evening. Mr and Mrs Truxton Dicks and Mr and Mrs Clarde Hawken also mentioned in the gathering.
