Enon community notes and family visits yearn for better days
Enon gossip centers on birthdays and visits among VanDorin and Walter families. Mrs. Venetah Tubaugh reports cards and gifts at Enon school while a birthday cake honors Mr. and Mrs. Faber. Chicago friend Ralph Teddey called on Harold Hawk. Local gatherings stretch from showers to class parties and church events with many kinfolk visiting various homes. Insects and pest control note DDT effectiveness, and pocket gophers may tunnel a mile in a year.
