A 4-H party at Hiatt s ville Hall. Betty Luse and Lester Strunk wed Sunday at 4 p.m. with a reception following.
W E Donovan Russell Warner visited the Orville Burton home. Numerous neighbors attended gatherings at the Thompson, Chambers, Hiatt, and Watts residences. A wedding at Betty Luse’s was noted and New Slope school closed with a large basket dinner and program. Lynda Kay celebrated her second birthday at a Donovan home gathering.
Mrs George Hammond and Mrs Jack Penfield with sons returned Friday after visiting her grandmother Mrs Priscilla Mehrhoff in Cincinnati. Mrs John McAninch Mrs Jim McAninch and Connie traveled to Albion Thursday to fetch baby chicks. Paul Fenton helped John Wm McAninch with farm work last week. Mr and Mrs Elbert Moore and Joann visited Mrs Jim Moore. Mr and Mrs James L Murphy and sons Mrs Esther Murphy and ...
Elmer Miller and family joined Sunday dinner at George Hammond and Loraine Hammond, staying with grandmother Esther Murphy in Moravia. Visitors included Mr and Mrs Donald Clark Judy Mrs Lloyd Clark and children with Hallo McConahay in Columbus Junction. Further stops featured Lloyd Massman family Clara Massman Chariton callers, John McAninch and Connie returning home, Jimmie McAninch evening calls, Mansel Tarbell family at Iconium church and dinner with Truman Tarbell, Verna McAninch at Iconium church, Gilbert Callen family at Elbert Moore home, and Carl Fenton Fern Penfield at John McAninch home.
