Official County Paper issues Thursday edition with editor names and a move to Portland Oregon. R F Main joins in, Moravia streets gain gravel improvement, Mayor Horner addresses street priorities. R J Atkins recalls town history and Mohawk heritage. Subscriptions renewed for numerous residents and local figures.
The notice to Rex Easter and C E Winsler states the 90 day redemption period for the W% Lot 1 Block M Aud. sale property in Moravia Iowa, sold for delinquent taxes years 1938 39 40 42 44 44. Events spanned birthdays, Mother's Day gatherings, and hospital care in Centerville and surrounding towns.
Numerous residents visited relatives and neighbors across Centerville Albia and surrounding towns for Mother's Day. The weekend featured dinners and calls at homes of Tarbell, Fox, Main, Veach, and others with many extended families enjoying meals and social time, while church and camp plans were noted.
Salem social calendar features a shower for Mrs. Paul Carruthers, visits by families including Hellyer and Long, and hospital work as Junior Martin receives care in Centerville hospital. Albia and Centerville callers share updates. Sunday dinners hosted by McCord family and others.
