Unimportant Cogitations by Inez Paber
A fragmented satirical farm column describes strawberry weeding battles and the chore burden on a farm wife. It humorously notes weeds, garden tasks, and family hunger, then shifts to poultry watching and a sled incident ending with a hog pen mishap. The piece blends domestic hints with rural mishaps and light irony.
