Heavy Snow and Winds Block Rural Roads
Moravia and nearby areas faced one of the worst winter storms in years. Beginning Saturday with wet snow turning to ice, then heavy snow, roads became impassable by Sunday night. Winds caused drifting and continued closures into Monday, delaying school buses and mail delivery. Some town roads, businesses, and coal mines reported access issues while others adjusted routes. A church class surprised the Woodward family with a gathering and gift.
