Subscription extension and community reminiscence from Moravia residents
Dear Editors: Here is a check to extend our subscription another year. We recall Mamie Blumenstock's writings with fondness and store them for posterity. We correct an error about the Dodds noting Reed W. Dodd earned the land grant. our grandfather from Virpalia via Indiana passed it to our father Frank Dodd. We enjoy items from all your correspondents and read Kinser Valley first. We had a backward spring with snow over four feet on May 31 when our granddaughter Donna Lea Downs graduated eighth grade. Reports from Big Sandy say crops look fine. We are thankful we grew up in the Moravian church community. Sincerely, Chas and Naomi Ensley.
