Another dinner guests list includes Mr. and Mrs. Fred Argo at Basil Herteen. An afternoon sightseeing trip to Missouri is mentioned, and Greg Wilson was Tuesday guest at the Frank Wilson home.
Mrs Clarence Whitehead spent Thursday in Ottumwa while the Argo family returned from Phoenix Arizona. The Jenningss attended Mary Platts funeral and 4 H club picnics were held with the McCord and Calhoun families. A happy home visit to Mt Pleasant and Dell Hellyer gatherings are recorded with several visits by Hellyer relatives.
Mrs. Newton Long visited Elbert Perry on Sunday while Mrs. Lloyd Brown spent Friday in Ottumwa. The Roscoe Argo home hosted Sunday guests. Delbert Calhoun and sons were at Don Richards. Raymond Perry and Robert Jennings households shared Sunday evening with each other. James McCord and Edward McCord hosted Sunday guests, and Pearl Runnells of Ottumwa joined Amy Hiner for Sunday visits.
The Hilton church event drew a good crowd for the annual ice cream social and Farm Bureau meeting. Paul Koffman opened the 4 H meeting with the pledge as nineteen members answered roll call.
