Switch from oats grain to pasture or plant sudangrass within a week, with legume oats boosting forage. haste reduces patchy grazing and boosts late-season fodder. If seeded by June 20, sudangrass can yield 6 to 8 weeks of growth to support two cattle per acre, with Piper variety offering lower prussic acid and better late-season growth though seed remains limited.
