Enon residents anticipate a Friday closing program for Enon school featuring a basket dinner and an alumni reunion. The event follows a busy period with community gatherings, family visits, and Memorial Day observances across nearby towns and households.
Monday visitors include Mr and Mrs Wayne McDanel and Debra Sue at Doyle McDanel home. Dallas Faber family spent Monday evening with Joe Griffin in Otumwa. Mrs Maurice Crist was ill for several days. Randy Dommer and Dean Kelley visited the John Kelley home. Gano Naselroad called on Leo Paxston and Fay Paxston. Cleo Stocker and family from Illinois visited Gomer Stocker and Mrs Sylvia Hiatt. they joined Clifford Stocker family for dinner. Gomer Stocker and Roy Matherly hosted Memorial Day dinner guests.
