Highway Commission Warns Against Posting Signs
The Iowa State Highway Commission warns that erecting campaign posters on highway rights of way or utility posts is illegal under the Iowa Beautification and Billboard Control Act effective July 1 1972. Permits are required for signs erected after that date and applications must be filed by July 31 1972 with the Beautification Act Administrator in Ames Iowa 50010.
