Matherly Reunion Held July 15 At Wapello
The Matherly reunion took place at Lake Wapello on Sunday with baskets and a bountiful dinner. Attendees from Moravia Ottumwa Moulton Centerville and nearby towns enjoyed visiting fishing and swimming as the group voted to hold next year’s gathering in Centerville park.

Women’s Society of World Service Meeting Notes
The Women’s Society of World Service of the Evangelical United Brethren church met at 8 PM Friday for the July session with Mrs. Ted Campbell. The lesson theme was Missions In The News led by Mrs. Campbell, with scriptures read by Mrs. Fred Hammond and Mrs. Maude Coltrain. Members shared mission-field reports, offered prayers, and sang in a hymn dramatization. A joint W S W S and Girls Missionary Guild meeting and picnic were scheduled for August 13, with Miss Miller as assisting hostess.
