Mr and Mrs Ralph Mericle of Springfield Missouri welcomed a baby boy, with Mr and Mrs Forrest Mericle as grandparents.
Evon Mrs Dalia Faber and neighbors gather for prayer circle and church events. Families visit at Blakesburg Udell Albia and Centerville. Rock club meets. News covers trips to Boulder and Springfield and a funeral in Keosauqua. Community members discuss rain delays, road work, and access to Moravia and Albia routes.
Mr and Mrs Bob Wilson are parents of a son born July 46 joining their family with brother Danny. The Vaughn Faber family with David and Billy McConkey visited the R A Faber home. Wednesday Club met July 16 at Frances Foster’s Blakesburg residence. James Russell of Monroe and Roy Fisher hosted visits with the Fabers. Joane Stevens held a jewelry party at Patty Faber’s Friday with 15 women and five teen girls present. Additional visits by Mr and Mrs Ed Robinson were noted.
Saturday evening at the R. A. Faber home Mr and Mrs C R Sandifer returned from Minnesota. Dick Sandifer spent the weekend there. Sunday guests at the Hd Robinson home included the Jack Hoffman family and Dick Sandifer. Mrs John McGee of Melrose visited her mother Mrs EB A Tubaugh. Mrs Kenneth Miller and daughter Sheila of Bloomfield called at Vaughn and R A Faber homes Monday.
