Moravia Community School District board schedules a budget hearing at 8:00 pm on July 21 1958 at the secretary’s office in Taylor Township Appanoose County Iowa. Taxpayers may speak for or against the proposed expenditures for the 1958 59 fiscal year with a full receipts and disbursements statement available at the hearing.

Gerald and Bert Rinehart and children visit LaPorte City and Ottumwa while Lloyd Landgrebe and family picnic with Virgil Cash group at Oskaloosa. Hazel Hellyer and Donna Rose joined Darlene Gladfelder and many Des Moines relatives for Thursday evening at Robert Jennings home. Camp at Lake Darling drew Orville McCord and Richard Perry last week. Regulars Calhouns and Karl Lee visited Lloyd Brown Thursday evening.
Sunday evening callers from Albia included Mr. and Mrs. Max Adler and Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henley, Mr. and Mrs. George Hellyer and Karol Ann. The Brown and Hamilton households hosted and visited with Ankeney and Jennings families.
