A flurry of weekend gatherings and town visits centers on Gene Huff and Marion Clayworth households in Moravia with relatives from Ottumwa Davenport Des Moines Norwalk Unionville and Centerville. Attendees join for birthdays reunions picnics and Fourth of July celebrations as friends neighbors and extended families share meals and hospitality.
Mr and Mrs Virgil Dooley hosted a family Fourth of July picnic Sunday at the Ray Dooley home in Centerville with Alan and Susan. Nearby Ottumwa shoppers, the McDanel and McDanel families, visited the Remmark home Thursday. Herb Boblenz visited the Virgil Dooley home Friday evening and Ensil Hiatt dined Sunday with Carl Phillips and family.
Mr and Mrs Danny Exline and family of Rockford D spent last week with his parents Mr and Mrs Lowell Extine Mr and Mrs Garner Cleaver and family visited Sunday in New

Mo visited the Hoffmans and Tee family while Simmons attended. Larry Whithead in Arizona spent the weekend with B F Whitehead. Ruth Dimmitt’s funeral was held in Ottumwa. Shahan is her aunt. Families Johnson Argo Comstock Van Weelden Jennings Tibball Argo Hoffman and Fisher visited Roscoe Argo and others. Tammy Hoffman visits Kenneth Hoffman family.
