Moravia high school class of 1952 held a Sunday reunion at Moravia Park with a cooperative noon dinner. About 100 members attended including out of town guests Wayne Wolf of Ft. The Rebekah lodge held a park picnic Monday night then a regular meeting with Noble Grand Katherine Charity in charge. An auditing committee of Mrs. D. E. Kathryn Smith and H Richard Smith wed at Emerson Methodist Church on Sunday June 27 in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev J H Englund. The bride wore Rosepoint lace and tulle with a cathedral train, pink roses in her bouquet, and was given in marriage by her father. The couple will reside in Leavenworth Kansas after a brief honeymoon in Minnesota. The wedding featured lavender gowns for bridesmaids and teal gowns for attendants, with a reception following in the church parlor.

Navy Lt William M. Morgan serves aboard the USS Boxer flagship of Vice Admiral Phillips. The carrier conducts training with Task Force 70.2 in the South China Sea off Manila. The Iowa State Fair track will host the 250 lap Iowa State Championship late model stock car race on Sunday afternoon July 18.
