Mrs. Betty Van Dorin and family were dinner guests of Mrs. Marsha Shrader in Centerville. Navy sailor Chris Frederick visited with his newborn son Brian before returning to San Diego. Iowa Trust Holds Annual Meeting
The Iowa Trust and Savings Bank in Center ville held its annual meeting on Wednesday January 12. Directors re-elected were J. Bradley Young chairman John J. Marget secretary Roy E. Oughton Colin F. Senior Oscar Gavronsky Robert E. Rich E. Francis Oehler Robert Valentine and C E Woodin. Young reported 1971 asset growth surpassing 20 million and noted expanded services including 90 percent home mortgage loans and maximum rates on savings and time deposits. The board re-elected officers and added new assistants and cashiers to key posts.
