Cruising south and back, travelers report mild Florida weather but lingering illness and crowded hospitals elsewhere.
A panel truck carries several young people many from northeastern states. They migrate to metropolitan centers for summer employment and spend winter months in southern areas. Some seek part time work while others allegedly avoid jobs.
Mrs. Ernest Hiatt reports a series of community gatherings from Coulson and New Hope. The Hiatt family hosted and attended barn dinners, coops, and country music theater events with neighbors and relatives including Mr. and Mrs. West and Mr. and Mrs. Hiatt.
