Appanoose County Supervisors Meet and Vote Actions
The Appanoose County Board of Supervisors held sessions in late 1971 and early 1972. Actions included correcting Tel Welch 1964 personal property assessment, approving Parkside Knolls South plat, approving multiple fund expenditures, naming depositories, approving budgets and holidays, and appointing Social Welfare members for 1972. Meetings note adjournments and attendance with prescribed signatures.
County Engineer Hired For One Day Week In 1971 Motion
Appanoose County Board of Supervisors met on December 28 1971 to hire Kenneth Bucklin as County Engineer for one day per week until a full time engineer is appointed The resolution fixed Bucklin’s pay at 40 per day along with other salary allocations for county officials and deputies under the 1971 Town Code and section 34 6 of the 1871 code, noting deputy percentages of annual salaries for the sheriff auditor treasurer recorder and district court clerks.
