Rays Ramblins mailings grow complex for zip codes
The Union faces tougher postal rules as each issue must be divided into 58 groups. Mail to regions like California or Illinois requires sorting by sectional centers, and five or more papers to a rural route or post office must be tied and labeled accordingly. Ottumwa center guidance to Moravia Union even misstates a zip code, adding confusion.
