Moravia Union marks 40th anniversary in Moravia

The Moravia Union celebrates its 40th year with volume 41, tracing its early 1900s start by Jack Allred, later sold to the Neukirks, then the Smith family since 1914 except 1940, with McGrews briefly holding in that decade. The editor notes growth across subscriptions, advertising, and job printing. The paper’s circulation is at an all time high as it enters a fortieth year, thanking loyal readers while praising community support and the service of local soldiers Burdell Roberts and Wayne Blumer on furlough, amid a wartime mood of patriotism and resilience.
