Milton Roy Gard son of Samuel and Elizabeth Gard was born February 13 1880 in Ringold county Iowa. He died January 1 1927 at his home in Franklin township Monroe County Iowa at age 48 years 10 months and 18 days. He lived in the Iconium neighborhood for years and is survived by his wife and ten children. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Teonam Monday at two o'clock conducted by Rev R C Rowe assisted by Rev L E Sox. Interment was made in Iconum cemetery.
