A heart attack occurs at a Centerville home, and church and fraternal events are noted including O E S instruction and a Metho dist dinner. The Chariton River Ladies Aid met with 11 members and 17 visitors, hemming towels, sharing prayers, and planning for February, with 63 Sunday School attendees and several community visits and hospital stays. Kinser Valley Days and Family News
A quarter inch of rain fell here Sunday and Sunday evening. Our register stood at 28. Lyle Cloyed and family were Tuesday evening visitors at the Zell Wilson home. LeRoy Wilson finished hauling baled straw from his uncle Carl Cloyed. The Wilsons took a pickup load of hogs to the sale barn Saturday. We accompanied Zell Wilson to Albia Friday to visit our sister. She is not gaining much. Ivan Headley and daughter, Mrs. Zell Wilson, LeRoy, Russell Darby and family, Earl Boardman and Mrs. Maxwell and son were visitors Friday night. Mrs. Maxwell brought her television set and we saw a real mature show. A letter from our son in Oakland, California tells us he and Donald Brain have set up a bachelor home out there. How we would like to see them.
