Oliver S Miller a pioneer resident of Brompton in Monroe county died after a weeklong illness at Minler's hospital Alia at age 75. Born June 30 1864 in Monroe county he lived there all his life and married Misa Catherine Martin on Jan 28 1889. He is survived by seven grandsons and his wife. two Miller children Oliver Dewey and Zora Dell had predeceased him. Funeral services were held at Knedler Funeral Home Blakesburg with Rev C B Patrick officiating and graveside rites at Eslinger cemetery.
