The Moravia area remains a united community with surrounding areas showing support. The nativity scene is paid for, a new television set aids a resident in bed, and the picnic shelter is completed. Signatures for petitioning an election to reorganize the local school district are accumulating.
The Mo ravia community consistently mobilizes to tackle tasks and complete projects. While opinions vary, nearly every resident participates to ensure efforts succeed and goals are met.
Udell residents attended the funeral at Centerville for Chastina Taylor 93 former Udell resident who died in Pomona Calif. Interwoven notices report visits from relatives and friends, gatherings at Spring and Burkland homes, and community sympathy for the Hinton and Moore families amid multiple local movements and visits.
Local church group practiced for the Christmas program and served cookies and cocoa as the Wesley Ladies share annual holiday treats. Community members visited hospitals, hosted and attended gatherings, with many aiming for a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Weekend visitors included Mr and Mrs Shields and Sue, Ronnie Wiley, and Mr Ayt. Sunday dinner guests also featured Mr and Mrs Deeil Schrodt at the Harsh residence.
