In the November 4 general election all candidates for District Court judge ran unopposed and were elected. No challenger stood against any district judge, ensuring a clean slate for the court positions.

In the January 1931 term of the District Court of Appanoose County Iowa the estate of Martha J Sharp deceased is in probate. C M McFatridge as executor seeks court action against R Sharp Lawrence Sharp and the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Nashville Tennessee and others with an interest in Lots 28 and 31 Block M Auditor's Addition Moravia. The petition seeks relief as the duly appointed executor.
