Clarence H. Swaim of Drakesville born Sept 26 1883 near Unionville Iowa married Addie More Oct 29 1904. He served as postmaster moved to Drakesville 1923 and died November 29 1935 after hospital care in Ottumwa. Survived by wife two children three brothers five sisters and many friends. Funeral at Drakesville Methodist church conducted by Rev Luther W Childs and Rev D W Rood with burial in Unionville cemetery by Masonic lodge.

Orelup presented a Christmas seals history, and Mrs. Lyle Beery sang Lonesome Road with Mr. Gould at the piano. The event promoted the Christmas seal sale starting today.
