Mrs Jolly Dies at 49 in Moravia Service Thursday

Tanetta Marie Jolly died Tuesday at her Moravia home after a long illness at age 49 years six months and 21 days. Funeral services are set for Thursday December 4 at 2 30 PM at Moravia Methodist Church with Rev J G Davis officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Born May 11 1898 in Springview Nebraska she was the daughter of Alfred and Clara Carlson. She married Freeman Jolly on September 16 1917 and is survived by son Clelland and daughter Mrs Carl Smith of Marshalltown. Also surviving are her mother Mrs Alfred Carlson and sister Mrs F Q Tucker. She was a Methodist and member of the Twenty Century Club.">

A cooperative dinner was held at the Charlie and Mary Platt home on Thanksgiving Day. J. P. Day secured the turkey and Mrs. Lee Hiatt roasted it to a finish. Farmers merchants and housewives in Appanoose and surrounding counties urged to attend the Farm and Home Labor Saving Exhibit in Centerville on Tuesday December 9.
