John Tucker Found Dead In Field Near Seymour Iowa
John Milton Tucker 54 of the New Hope community near Seymour Iowa was found dead Sunday evening near a creek a half mile from his home. Coroner ruled no foul play. He left a grieving wife who died August 15 this year and children Daphne Dwight Jane Ted Maxine. He is survived by a mother a brother and a sister with grandchildren. The obituary notes his faith and long service to the local churches and communities.

A progressive effort to curb tuberculosis in Iowa counties begins with a survey of upper grade students.
