Suiters Observe AQth Anniversary in Ernfold Canada
Mr and Mrs J H Suiter celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 30 1956 in Ernfold Saskatchewan with a reception at Veterans hall. The event featured a pink white table centerpiece and a three tier fruit cake as guests toured the village. The couple long hosted civic roles and homesteaded before settling in Ernfold where they raised a daughter Frances now Mrs Ray Sykes and four grandchildren Donald Howard Beverly and Sharon Rae. The evening included remarks by Ted Sylvester a welcome from Mayor Armstrong and musical numbers by the Towans and Mrs Rousseau.

Ice Cream Supper Honors Glen Massman
An ice cream social at Brushy church on August 8 honored Mr and Mrs Glenn Massman and daughter from Tucson Arizona visiting relatives. Eighty one guests enjoyed thirteen gallons of ice cream and twelve cakes with singing and conversation. Present were Glenn and Marty Massman from Tucson Tom Massman from Centerville Frank Dixon from Corydon Rev Atwood and two boys from Allerton.
