The Milwaukee Road announces G. E. Lanning as assistant division superintendent based in Perry Iowa. Lanning, trainmaster since 1940 with Marion Iowa headquarters, takes over from C. E. Crippen who leads the President's committee. W. T. Stewart and A G C Novak also receive new trainmaster postings with Ottumwa and Marion assignments.
