Clover Leaf 4-H Club Trip Ends in August Fair Plans
Suzanne and Julia Moore of Moravia return from a Grandparents trip to the Badlands Black Hills Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. They will present at the Iowa State Fair on August 23 with an illustrated talk on the metric system and a mint making demonstration. Suzanne enters two 4-H exhibits including a madrame wall hanging and crewel embroidery. Julia enters a reworked stirrup napkin holder. Both attend Moravia Schools.

Moravia Jaycee Ettes met August 2 at Donna Woodward home with 7 members present. State Vice President Donna Sievers of Richland attended. They will sell raffle tickets for a Boston Pite Rocker or a $100 gift certificate at the Fall Festival and host a Community calendar booth. Dues are due to treasurer Diane Burger. Next meeting is September 6, 1977 at Elaine Mardy’s home.

The Moravia Area Historical Society met July 28 1977 at the community building with eight people present. The president called the meeting to order and minutes from the prior meeting were read. A letter from the State Historical Department acknowledged the Articles of Incorporation. A Fall Festival booth was discussed and decisions set for the next meeting. The next regular meeting is August 25 1977 at 7 30 p m at the Community Building.

Lewis to fill Iconium pulpit on late August Sundays
