4-H Demonstration Wins at Monroe Achievements Show
Alldsh Tullét and Patty Rogers won the 4-H demonstration with their 43H act, earning a chance to represent Mon ton at the State Fair. Judge Mrs. Lois Oukaloosa praised the performance and noted it will advance to air. Other entries will also compete at the State Fair. Thursday features sheep, swine, horses and beef cattle judging at Albia Sales barn, with a 3:30 p.m. parade, 8:00 p.m. home talent show, and 9:30 p.m. street dance at the Albia square. Friday includes dairy cattle showmanship finals and a livestock parade, plus pony show and stag performances at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Albia Sales barn.

Library Board Elects New Officers for Cleanup Ahead of Fair
