Rathbun Boating Rules Spark Local Friction at Lake
Merle Johnson notes worship in Whittier California with minister Dr Richard Sneed who recalls a haircutting memory from Moravia Iowa. Rathbun residents oppose a State Highway Commission stop sign reversal to favor lake traffic, fear dangerous north south speeds, and urge safer boating with life jackets and proper disposal of litter. Patrols enforce safety while campers leave trash as beautification concerns rise.
