Local Happenings Across Des Moines and Nearby Towns
Des Moines visitors Lucy Harvey and granddaughter Dawn Harvey spent days with brothers Ri. 8. and H. A. Faber while Ruben Faber and families visited in Omaha. Many local families hosted and visited relatives from Des Moines, Ottumwa, Ames, West Des Moines, Shenandoah, and more. Plant and flower sales are planned for April 30 at the Community Building with Garden Club involvement. Families from Ottumwa to St Louis to Chicago gathered for dinners and weekend visits, with travel and hospital updates noted for Mrs. Lucy Harvey and Mrs. Birdie Main among others.
