At a town council meeting Merril Gardner and John Steddom of Garden Engineering discussed Moravia’s proposed sewer system. Estimated total cost 370000. federal grant needed. Financing options include 25000 general obligation bonds plus 345000 assessment bonds, or mixed bonds and revenue bonds with monthly rents 5 to 9.20, or 25k bonds plus 245k revenue bonds with rents 8.82 to 13.23. Federal aid appears near essential as FHA works on the engineers report. no voting by residents is required to join the sewer line.
