A citizens convention invites any resident to nominate candidates for all offices. After nominations a ballot will determine the nominee with the most votes. The selection committee will meet next Tuesday to choose candidates and publish the list in Friday's Times.
About fifty prominent residents gathered to plan a nonpartisan municipal ticket for Mooresville's November election. A six member ward representatives committee was formed to nominate two candidates per office and report to a nominating convention on October 6 1905 at the town hall.
Miss Laura Harvey hosts a weekend outing with Orricy Harvey and others from Bellfountaine. The group travels by wagon to Porter's caves near Eminence, Indiana for a dawn breakfast then tours the caves before returning. Four members later press through the cave to near the far end for a one hour forty five minute challenge.
