Residents discuss rent for four rooms and business plans to retallish a bank in Lrooilyn. Many visits to Indianapolis and from Plainfield, Alacon Ohio, and Waverly mark a busy week. Church groups, social events, and a horse show bring community activity and sermons at the Friends and Christien vhorei.

New Hotel Planed and Construction Soon Begun

Mooresville expects a new two story brick hotel on east Harrison Street near the M. & M. church with a concrete foundation. W. L. Lamb bought forty feet of ground for the hotel site and plans to move the Times building adjacent. The project includes a waiting room for the Indianapolis Rapid Transit Co and modern hotel conveniences. Construction will start once architects finalize plans.

Town Board Discusses Sewer Plan and Resignations

The town board held a Tuesday night session presided by Dr. Hadley with only two members present. B I Trogdon resigned citing unjust criticism, and Pr. A W Reagan was chosen to succeed him. Primson also intends to resign. Sewer talks dominated with a sixteen inch line proposed from Taylor Street to near the Vandalia railroad trestle and to White Lick Creek.
